Sunday Visit to Eric & Brittany's

We went to Amarillo today to visit with Eric, Brittany and Avary. We got some adorable pictures of Avary while she was wide awake. She is sooo pretty! We had fun playing with her and holding her. We watched Walle with Eric and Brittany and had such a nice time. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and seeing the Brazell clan and having them all meet Avary!

Here our the first pics of our new granddaughter Avary Ann. She made her appearance at 3:38pm. on Nov. 15. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 ozs and was 20 3/4"long. She has lots of blond hair and is so adorable! Mom and baby are well and doing great! Brittany did a wonderful job and was such a trooper thru the whole thing! Eric and Brittany are two proud parents! God is good!!

Karissa Update

Here are a couple of new photos of Karissa. One is her homecoming mum she got from daddy and the other is the quilt her and Grandma Billie entered in the museum quilt contest. She colored the quilt squares and Grandma put the quilt together. Although they didn't place in the contest, they had fun doing it together and it was good grandmother/granddaughter time! She is growing up way to fast!!

Jordan is a Junior in High School this year and active in basketball. He also LOVES Texas Tech and as you can see is quite a ham! He is an honor student and a very good guy.

Eric & Brittany's Baby Shower

We had Eric and Brittany's Baby Shower today and it was wonderful! They had a great turn out of family and friends and got tons of beautiful and cute things! The shower was held at Kay Christie's house and Kay, Lisa Hatley, Eloise Hass, Kathy Loflin, Amber Kruger and Jenny Goolsby were hostesses. It was from 2-3:30pm in the afternoon. Only 4 more weeks till Avary Ann is here. We can't wait! This is so exciting!

Baby Update!

Avary Ann is now up to 4lbs. 4ozs. as of last Friday! Brittany is doing good and if Avary keeps gaining weight, she may be born before her Nov. 20th due date! Eric and Brittany have finished the baby's nursery in Winnie The Pooh and it is adorable! I'll have to get a picture to post! Tony redid the family baby bed and it turned out so good-looks brand new!

Schools back in session!

Hi everyone!
Well, the kids went back to school as of Monday! Karissa is in the 5th grade this year and loves her classes and is excited about getting her own locker this year! She wasn't even upset when she came home with homework the first day! She is in student council again this year too.
Jordan is a Junior this year and likes all of his classes too! They are back into working out everyday for basketball and on Wednesdays they have to run cross country. He came home last night exhausted! First day coach made them run 3 miles! I think I would die!! I love it that he can drive to school and come home for lunch now. Makes things easier! He is also going to be a aide at Karissa's school this year first period, so as of tomorrow, he'll be able to take her to school for me! This is working out good. He's hoping to make varsity this year. He also is dating a little girl from church, so life is good!
Eric, Brittany and Baby are doing good. 85 more days before Avary is here! We are having a ball buying baby girl stuff! Both of the kids are back in school at Amarillo College and Eric is still working full time at BSA. They are going to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apt at the end of September, so Avary will have a room. That way we have a place to put all this stuff! Swings, car seats, strollers, pack and plays, etc...babies take alot of stuff! Can't wait for my grandbaby!

New to Blogging

Hi all! This is my first of many blogs I'm sure! I'm new to this so still trying to get my feet wet! Figured with a grandbaby and all on the way, this would be the easiest way to update friends and family!

The summer has been going by quickly for us! Jordan is babysitting for the OB/GYN doctors by us and making a bunch of money! He is active in open gym and a basketball league this summer to keep him in shape. Coach Packer says he will make varsity this year! He is pretty excited. He also turned 16th on June 25th, so he has a car and is now mobile! We don't see much of him anymore! LOL

Karissa has done a volleyball camp this summer and just finished with a basketball camp in Canyon, TX all week. She is having a blast with friends and activities this summer. She will be in 5th grade this year!

Eric is living in Amarillo and still working at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital. He is planning on transfering to the Intensive Care Unit sometime in July. He likes his job and plans on taking more college classes in the fall to get his LVN then RV license in nursing! Eric and his fiance Brittany are expecting our first grandbaby on November 20th! We just found out we are expecting a baby girl! Can't wait to be a grandma and grandpa!!

We have spent several long weekends camping in Colorado and New Mexico. The bears were very bad in Colorado and you really had to watch everything you did because of them. They came in the campsite-morning, noon & night! It was an adventure!!
